Enterprise Zone are located around the dynamic cities of Hervey Bay and Maryborough.
This ensures each of the Industrial Parks have easy access to air, road, rail and port facilities, linking them to major domestic centres, and the key economic regions of South East Asia.
As part of the FCEZ's commitment to ensuring businesses within the Zone have fast, efficient access to
domestic and international markets, the region's airport facility in Hervey Bay has undergone a $13 million
redevelopment.
The FCEZ is now serviced by Virgin with regular direct passenger jet services from Sydney and linkages to other Australian capital cities. We are also serviced by Virgin Air Freight.
Qantas Link provide daily return services from Brisbane to Hervey Bay.
Major freight and coach companies also provide daily north and south-bound round transport options, taking only three hours to transport goods south to Brisbane.
The FCEZ is in close proximity to major seaports on the Queensland coast. Queensland Rail provides a daily service from Brisbane to Maryborough as well as High Speed Tilt Train passenger service to the Fraser Coast daily from Brisbane and Cairns.
