Emergency Action GuideThe Fraser Coast Emergency Action Guide (PDF, 2.1MB) contains important numbers and information to help keep you safe in an emergency. In Case of an Emergency (ICE)The 'ICE' (In Case of Emergency) campaign is a method of contact during emergency situations. To participate in this campaign, all you need to do is store the number of a person or persons who should be contacted during emergency under the name 'ICE' ( In Case Of Emergency). For more than one contact name, simply enter ICE1, ICE2 and ICE3 into your mobile phone. Emergency CentresCouncil has identified a number of buildings that could operate as emergency centres during a natural disaster. Which centre will be activated in an emergency will depend on the nature and location of the incident. Council does not advertise the locations of emergency centres to avoid confusion and to ensure residents attend only centres that are activated. Local Disaster Management PlanThe Local Disaster Management Plan (PDF,2.2MB) addresses Council's strategies to effectively deal, manage and recover from an emergency situation or disaster in the Fraser Coast region.
