Local spend

Annually between 70% - 80% of Council's $110 million discretionary operational & capital budget is spent locally depending on the availability and ability of local suppliers to perform capital works and provide services/goods.

In addition, Council spends $42 million on wages and salaries, employing over 500 staff.
